About the Author

Rosanna graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where she simultaneously took writing classes at the main campus because she always had a passion for storytelling. Licensed to practice in California, she's also in a select group of attorneys to graduate from the prestigious Los Angeles County Bar Association's Trial Advocacy Project. She has actual trial experience as a prosecutor at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Currently, she's Vice President and General Counsel at Worldwide Entertainment Corporation, which is home to the 1958 sci-fi cult classic, 'The Blob.' Meanwhile, she has joined forces with her sister, Diana, to become a writing team called the Savone Sisters. They created the one-woman show starring Diana called 'Italian AF: One Woman. Six Characters. Zero Mob Ties.' that debuted at The Whitefire Theatre's SOLOFEST 2018. They are the authors of the historical fiction novel, 'Giacomo's Daughter, ' available Valentine's Day 2020.
Diana was born in Trenton, Michigan, and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, with her three older siblings by Italian immigrant parents. Her father, Angelo Savone, is a retired factory worker of Ford Motor Co. Her mother, Anna Savone, is an entrepreneur of a drapery manufacturing business. Diana always excelled in the creative arts and would consistently be found drawing, painting, writing poetry, dancing, and performing. She was on a competitive cheer squad that won third in Nationals and was also voted most creative her senior year of high school. Shortly upon graduation, Diana moved to Los Angeles, where she began working in the costume department for the film and television industry. Inspired to take her first acting class after working on the independent film, 'The Open Road, ' starring the great Jeff Bridges, she studied the dramatic arts intensely at the repertory Playhouse West theatre, a division of Sanford Meisner's Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. It was there that Diana took her first writing class and was encouraged to study comedy due to her natural comedic timing. Diana soon graduated from The Second City Hollywood's conservatory program, where she co-wrote and performed in premium sketch shows. She's also completed the Core Track offered at The Groundlings school on the first try. It was there that Diana's instructors told her to never stop writing. She is writing and producing partners with her sister, Rosanna, known professionally as the Savone Sisters.
