Lindsay Shaffer is the author of 20 nonfiction books for children, as well as a variety of children's magazine articles, short stories, poems, and eBooks. Lindsay has written about everything from the adorable, mountain-dwelling pika to the history of skateboarding. She loves wandering in nature, painting, playing the piano, and visiting National Parks. She lives in Campbell, California with her husband Andrew.
