About the Author

Some of Allan Morey's favorite childhood memories are from the time he spent on a farm in Wisconsin. Everyday he saw cows, chickens, and sheep. He even had a pet pig named Pete. He developed a great appreciation of animals, big and small. Allan currently lives in St Paul with his family and dog, Ty, who keeps him company while he writes children's books.
Mark Oblinger is an award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, and performer. He cowrote and produced the Grammy-nominated children's jazz symphony JumpinJazz Kids: A Swinging Jungle Tale and has won five Heartland Emmy Awards for his work as a composer/producer for the PBS children's show The Big Green Rabbit and the short films Yesterday's Zoo and The Sea I See. Flavia Sorrentino lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Rome, where she grew up. She loves her city and the figure of speech, "Rome wasn't built in a day", which inspires her each day to seek new ways of communication and expression. She has worked hard on her technique which has taken her across the globe, from France to America and beyond! She has a true passion for Toulouse Lautrec, poetry, historical costume, typography, Tina Turner and tomato sauce!
