Evil lurks in unlikely faces...
Brent Lawton's entrance into the occult was an accident; a combination of ignorance and naïveté. He is drawn into a life-paralyzing darkness that threatens to destroy him. Brent tries desperately to escape, even to the point of attempting suicide. However, his deadly deliberations are temporarily stalled by the thought of two possible after-life destinations--one of them probable--planted in his mind by his grandmother.
Tara Baker's involvement in the occult was no accident. Painful secrets from her past prompt her to push forward to acquire more dark power. Motivated by a malevolent intent to destroy the walk of two "Christlings," she leverages both physical and spiritual influences to again prove her worthiness to an angry mentor who no longer trusts her emotional stability.
Brent's and Tara's paths will cross. Two different powers will compete for their lives and reputations. Neither Brent nor Tara will come out of the experience without scars, but one will encounter an ancient power so boundless that he ... or she ... will come face-to-face with eternity.
About the Author
W. Franklin Lattimore is a graduate of Kent State University, with a B.A. in Political Science. His former involvement in the occult as a teenager was the springboard for writing the Otherealm Saga. Now a committed Christian, his books are written as a wake-up call to those dabbling in, curious about, or heavily active in witchcraft and other spiritual activities. His books are also designed to educate Christians on their position and authority in Christ and their responsibility to make Jesus known to their communities, while possibly taking some risks to do so. Frank is an active volunteer in his church and in his available time enjoys hiking, biking, ziplining, fishing, riding roller coasters, target shooting, and eating crispy BBQ wings. He makes his home in Central Ohio.

With Deliver Us from Darkness, W. Franklin Lattimore propels himself into the ranks of powerful storytellers like Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. Not only does he weave a tale of intrigue, intelligence and deep characters, he does it with the bold courage to rip the curtains away from dark truths, which is too often lacking in authors today. The result is a fascinating story that will leave you excited and shaking and flipping pages faster than you can say, "Holy cow!"
