About the Author

Hannah Carmona is a former drama teacher and co-founder of the youth theatre program Collective Art School of Tennessee. A proud Latinx (who doesn't speak a word of Spanish), Bestselling Children's Author of three books, voiceover actor, Herbalist in training, and single mom of two fierce girls and a fur baby. When not doing any of the above I sometimes can be found vlogging on Youtube or eating a family-sized pack of Twizzlers...or both at the same time!

"While very highly recommended, especially for family, elementary school, and community library Social Issues picture book collections for children ages 5-7, it should be noted that Dazzling Travis is also available for personal reading lists in a paperback edition and in a digital book format." --Midwest Book Review
"This celebration of living one's best life features the first-person voice of Travis, a boy with a lot of flair: overall, the book succeeds in communicating the message promised in the subtitle." --Andrew Medlar, Booklist Reviewer
"In cheery rhymes, Dias introduces Travis, a boy who likes dressing as a knight as much as dancing ballet. Like Travis, his friends' personalities shine through their non gendered clothing and the toys they choose. Dias offers little nuance in favor of a straightforward message about embracing individuality, defying stereotypes and standing up against bullies." --Publishers Weekly
