About the Author

Ken Lambert grew up in Munich with his twin brother Ron, together with their English father and Austrian mother. When the war was over, Ken and Ron went on to finish school in England. After loosing Ron to a freak bicycle accident, Ken enrolled in the British army and was promptly channeled to the Special Forces. They made him into a Jungle Fighter and retained him for six years as they needed his special talents to aid in suppressing the Mau-Mau rebellion. At that point he became the hunter; and that experience left him scarred for life, even more so than the brutality of the Nazi regime. After his release, he was granted a scholarship which he used to study engineering in Germany. After that he went on to a career in cinematography. Among other things he was DP on the movie Foxy Lady, and he worked on the early Flipper series for Disney. He is now retired and lives in Victoria, BC, with his wife Isabel.
