About the Author
Bonnie McKnight is the owner of Lady Knight Editing, LLC and the Membership Coordinator for NCW. She has been a freelance editor since 2015-but she's been correcting people's grammar since she was two (ask about the legendary fog vs. mist debate of '92). She earned her MA in the History of Books and is more than happy to gush about ancient Mesopotamian literacy or Victorian fiction magazines. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, Bonnie sees the mountains as home.
Lorrie Wolfe is a technical writer and editor living in Windsor, Colorado. She is passionate about volunteers, creating community, and about the power of words to unite and move people. Her poetry has appeared in Earth's Daughters, Progenitor Journal, Tulip Tree Review, Pilgrimage, Pooled Ink, and others. Her chapbook, Holding: from Shtetl to Santa, was published by Green Fuse Press in 2013. She edited and contributed to the 2017 anthologies Mountains, Myths & Memories and Going Deeper. Lorrie was named Poet of the Year at Denver's Ziggie's Poetry Festival for 2014-15.
Amy Rivers is an award-winning novelist and writer of short stories and personal essays, as well as the Director of Northern Colorado Writers. She was recently named 2021 Indie Author of the Year by the Indie Author Project. She's been published in We Got This: Solo Mom Stories of Grit, Heart, and Humor, Flash! A Celebration of Short Fiction, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for Nurses, and Splice Today, as well as Novelty Bride Magazine and ESME.com. She was raised in New Mexico and now lives in Colorado with her husband and children. She holds degrees in psychology and political science, two topics she loves to write about.
