About the Author

Larry Hofer is the owner of The Corvette Shop and Raylar Engineering in San Diego, California. He has been involved in the performance automotive, truck, and marine industry for nearly 40 years. Larry has written and contributed to several automotive publications, including Vette and Hot Rod magazines, and with Don Taylor, the Paint and Body Handbook, and How to Rebuild Small-Block Mopar Engines.
Don Taylor grew up in the auto trimming business: his father was a trimmer, Don is a trimmer, and his two sons were trained as trimmers as they grew up. As an expert author, Don created the Automotive Upholstery Handbook for California Bill's and has written six other automotive books on engine rebuilding, restoration and paint and body work.
