About the Author
Frank Stewart is a writer, translator, and founding editor of Mānoa: A Pacific Journal of International Writing. He is professor emeritus of English at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
Trevor Carolan's fourteen books include nonfiction, poetry, translations, fiction, and anthologies. An engaged Buddhist, he has served as a North Vancouver municipal councillor and has campaigned on behalf of BC environmental, Native land-claim, and Asian human rights issues. He holds a Ph.D. from Bond University, Queensland, and teaches English and Creative Writing at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, BC. Most recently, he edited MAKING WAVES: READING B.C. AND PACIFIC NORTHWEST LITERATURE (Anvil Press, 2010).
