About the Author
Viginie Aladjidi & Caroline Pelissier used to work for a variety of children's publishers in France before deciding to write books themselves. Marion Billet was born in 1982 in Lyon, France. She studied children's book illustration at the Emile Cohl School. Marion has published around 80 children's books published in 11 different countries including "Whizzy Wheels: London Bus" and "Whizzy Wheels: London Taxi" for PanMacmillan. Her illustrations have appeared in magazines and on stationery and toys, as well as on children's furniture and clothes. Marion lives in Paris. Sébastien Guénard trained at the 3 Michelin starred l'Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz before learning from his "second father" Thierry Blanqui at the Beurre-Noisette in Paris. He then worked with Alain Ducasse as Chef at Les Lyonnais for two years. In 2008 he opened his own restaurant in Paris, "Le Miroir", where he reinvents forgotten French cuisine classics.This is his first contribution to a children's book.
