About the Author
Dana Hall is a licensed clinical professional counselor. Her job is to help people to find their voice. When she found out her son was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and faced the very real probability that he would never be able to verbally communicate, she felt lost. How could she help him connect to the world?
Shruti Prabhu is a graphic designer turned children's book illustrator based in Mumbai, India. She loves to bring her colorful characters to life with watercolor, gouache and pencils. Her visual style involves both traditional and digital mediums. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in Typography from Sir JJ Institute (2009) and a Master's Degree in Design and Branding from University of Arts, London (2011). Shruti has collaborated with multiple international authors including Beyond Words, Like a Girl, They Draw and Travel, and most recently Santosha Saves Bedtime. When she is not drawing, she is busy obsessing over plants and retro video games.
