Antonin Artaud (1895-1948) was the author of many books, most famously The Theater and Its Double. Clayton Eshleman is an American poet and translator and professor emeritus at the English Department of Eastern Michigan University. He has translated the work of Antonin Artaud, César Vallejo, Aimé Césaire, and others.
