A Message to Garcia
Elbert Hubbard
(Author)
Description
A Message to Garcia is a timeless message. It is a message about teamwork, success, and individual fortitude. George Bernard Shaw poignantly stated "people who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it." A Message to Garcia is an essay of warning for those who say it cannot be done, and a celebration of those who are doing it. From a philosopher and a writer who started as a socialist and eventually became a stalwart defender of enterprise and American know-how - and ultimately flashed from existence on earth as a victim aboard the RMS Lusitania - the message further receives an ordained timeless poignancy.Product Details

About the Author
Hubbard spent much of his life carefully collecting quotes and passages of significance from history and literature. As he gathered these selections, he added them to his scrap book for his own personal inspiration. Yet, he never once conceived of the idea to publish what had served as spiritual nourishment for his own refreshment and pleasure.
